Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Pivník ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Pivník is a mobile beer diary: you tally beers the way a Czech pub coaster does, and a map shows pubs, breweries, bars and restaurants nearby. The diary is stored on your device and works offline; an internet connection is needed for the map and for loading nearby places.

Responsible Drinking

The app is intended for people of legal drinking age (18 in the Czech Republic). Pivník is a personal record-keeping tool and does not encourage or promote excessive alcohol consumption. Drink in moderation and never drive under the influence of alcohol.

User Conduct

You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose of personal record keeping. You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Attempt to exploit, hack, or tamper with the app or its data
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose

Advertisements

The app may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Ad content is managed by Google and subject to Google's advertising policies. See the privacy policy for details on consent to personalized ads.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and assets in Pivník are owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without our written permission. Place data comes from OpenStreetMap (ODbL license) and Mapy.com.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that place information (opening hours, location, existence) is always accurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the app at any time, for any reason, without notice.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
